Tuberville, Tommy

Tommy Tuberville represents Alabama in the U.S. House of Representatives. Before entering public service, he established a prominent career in collegiate athletics, most notably serving as the head football coach at Auburn University from 1999 to 2008. His coaching career also included leadership roles at the University of Mississippi, Texas Tech University, and the University of Cincinnati, earning him a reputation as one of the winningest coaches in college football history. Born in Camden, Arkansas, he holds a degree in physical education from Southern Arkansas University.

In Congress, he is active on several committees, including the Committee on Armed Services, where he chairs the Personnel Subcommittee, and the Committee on Agriculture, Nutrition, and Forestry. He also serves on the Committee on Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions, chairing the Subcommittee on Education and the American Family.
