Carey, Mike

Mike Carey has represented Ohio's 15th congressional district since winning a special election in 2021. Before entering Congress, he served in the Army National Guard from 1989 to 1999 and worked as an aide to a state senator while in college. His professional background centers on the energy sector, where he held the position of vice president of government affairs at American Consolidated Natural Resources, a coal company, and served as chairman of the board of the Ohio Coal Association.
