Small Business Liberation Act

H.R. 3986 would exempt small business concerns from certain import duties that were imposed pursuant to a national emergency declaration made on April 2, 2025. The bill would allow small businesses, as defined under the Small Business Act, to import goods without being subject to these duties. This would apply to goods imported by or for the use of small business concerns.
