To amend title 5, United States Code, to increase the maximum age up to which an individual may be afforded health coverage under chapter 89 of such title as a dependent child.

This bill would increase the maximum age for dependent children to remain on their parents' health insurance plans under the Federal Employees Health Benefits (FEHB) Program. Specifically, it would raise the age limit from 22 to 30, allowing adult children of federal employees and retirees to maintain coverage for an additional eight years. If enacted, this change would provide extended access to health insurance for young adults as they transition into the workforce or pursue higher education.
