SAVE Act

The Student Assisted Vaccination Effort (SAVE) Act would allow trained students in various health professions—including medicine, nursing, pharmacy, and veterinary medicine—to administer vaccines and other treatments during federally declared public health emergencies. By permitting these students to work under the supervision of licensed professionals, the bill aims to increase the number of qualified people available to assist the public during a crisis.
