Ricketts, Pete

Pete Ricketts is a Republican serving as a United States Senator from Nebraska. He first entered the Senate in January 2023 after being appointed to fill the vacancy left by Ben Sasse. Before his tenure in Washington, Ricketts served two terms as the 40th Governor of Nebraska from 2015 to 2023. His professional background is rooted in the private sector, where he held executive leadership roles at TD Ameritrade, including Chief Operating Officer, and founded Drakon LLC to support local entrepreneurs. He holds both a bachelor's degree and an MBA from the University of Chicago.

In the Senate, Ricketts holds several influential committee assignments.
