Background
Nikki Budzinski was born on March 11, 1977, and spent much of her career working for trade unions, including roles with the Laborers' International Union of North America and the International Association of Fire Fighters. She served as the national political director for the United Food and Commercial Workers and later worked as a senior advisor to Illinois Governor J.B. Pritzker. Before her election to Congress, she served as the chief of staff for the Office of Management and Budget in the Biden administration.
