Political career
Kat Cammack’s interest in politics began after her family experienced difficulties with a federal housing program, leading her to intern for Representative Mike Coffman and later serve as deputy chief of staff to Representative Ted Yoho from 2013 to 2019. A member of the Republican Party, she also operated an independent political consulting firm before running to succeed Yoho upon his retirement. She was elected to represent Florida's 3rd congressional district in 2020 and has served in the House of Representatives since 2021.
