Stop Our Sexual Assault in the Military Act

H.R. 1434, the Stop Our Sexual Assault in the Military Act, would require all active-duty service members to participate in monthly self-defense training specifically designed to prevent and combat sexual assault. This legislation aims to provide military personnel with consistent, practical skills to protect themselves and reduce the prevalence of sexual violence within the armed forces. If enacted, the Department of Defense would be responsible for integrating these mandatory training sessions into the regular monthly schedules of all branches of the military.
