Tribal Firearm Access Act

H.R. 7698 would modify federal firearms purchase requirements to permit members of federally recognized tribes to present tribal government identification documents when buying firearms from federally licensed dealers. Currently, federal law requires specific forms of identification for firearm purchases, and this bill would expand acceptable identification to include tribal government-issued IDs.
