HOTDOG Act

The HOTDOG Act, which stands for the Honest Oversight of Ticketed Dining and Onsite Grub Act, would direct the Federal Trade Commission to conduct a study on certain concession pricing practices. The bill addresses pricing at venues such as sports stadiums, concert halls, and other ticketed events where food and beverages are sold. If enacted, this legislation would require a comprehensive examination of how concession vendors set prices for food and drinks at these venues. The bill is currently in the House Committee on Energy and Commerce and has not yet been voted on by the full House.
